Special Sundays!

We do a number of special services throughout the year:

Baptisms occur about 7-10 times a year mostly at the 10:15 service. The Baptism Service has unique components and remind of all of us of our work as God’s People

Rite-13 Ceremonies occur as part of our Teen Program about 2 times a year (fall and spring). They are loosely modeled after Baptism and celebrate our young people becoming “teens”!

Church First Sundays are scheduled at least 5 times a year and are often combined with a Contemporary Service, see below. We all gather, young and old, for a shorter communion service together before going to Church School, Teen Program or Adult Forum.

Contemporary Services are hosted by our church band, Nine6teen, who lead us in more modern style church music both sacred (Tree63, Caedmon’s Call, Jars of Clay) and from secular sources (James Taylor, U2, Bob Dylan, Jason Mraz) and involve a Contemporary liturgy as well.
